Silvia Armeni

Silvia was born in Italy, to a family of artists who started and dominated the Romantic Movement in Italy. In 1967, she entered the “Liceo Artistico” of Genoa and finished her education in Rome in 1970. In 1975, Silvia had the first of her many successful exhibitions. After a tour of Canada, Silvia decided to move permanently to Toronto in 1979, fulfilling her long time ambition of becoming a professional artist. Her subject matter ranges from collages of Italian suburbs to oil paintings of Canadian.
