Clifford Bailey

Born in Miami, Florida, Clifford Bailey’s talents were recognized at an early age. With the encouragement of teachers and a supportive family, Clifford was soon enrolled in several South Florida programs for the gifted. In 1987, he moved to New York to begin his college training. Since graduating in 1991 from the prestigious New York School of Visual Arts (SVA) with a Bachelor Degree in Fine Art, Clifford has developed a vibrant, articulate and highly individualized style of painting. Inspired by jazz culture, he infuses atmosphere, style, energy and spontaneity into each of his splendid paintings. Known for his “Club Shows,” Clifford takes an avant-garde approach to exhibiting his work, often showing in high profile restaurants and trendy nightspots across America. This exposure, along with a series of group exhibitions and art festivals, has brought Clifford much critical acclaim. His work is highly prized by public and private collectors, and is drawing much attention from the international art community.
