Ed Baynard

Born in Washington D.C., Ed Baynard now lives and works in New York and his work is part of the permanent collections of the Whitney Museum of American Art, The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Baynard has become legendary for his masterfully executed watercolors and unique printing techniques. There is an elegant and stylized quality to his work, of which familiar themes include flowers, pots, plants and vases. His use of vibrant color and his refined and classic technique convey a strong influence of Eastern art
