Sid Dickens
Born in BC, Sid Dickens attended the Emily Carr School of Art in Vancouver. He experimented with collage and oil paint, quickly developing a recognizable style. After studying bronze casting at the Institute Del Allende in San Miguel, Mexico, he returned to Canada where he discovered his ideal medium, plaster. Sid has earned international acclaim for his decorative tile blocks, panels and wall plaques, which bring new life to Renaissance images, faded love letters and antique playing cards.
