T.G. Dutton
Thomas Goldsworthy Dutton was born around 1819 and is now known as one of the finest lithographers of shipping scenes and ship portraits of the 19th Century. He practised from premises in Fleet Street, London, as a lithographic artist, marine draughtsman and draughtsman on wood, and his work was exhibited on many occasions at Suffolk Street between 1858 and 1879. An almost complete collection of his published lithographs is held at the National Maritime Museum, Greenwich. Thomas Dutton died at the age of 71 in 1891.
