Jenny Frean

Jenny Frean studied textiles at Middlesex University and the Royal College of Art. In 1986, she set up the First Eleven Studio which is now a thriving group of designers working for every kind of product that needs surface decoration. Her sources of influence are diverse. Japanese art is a particular inspiration, but Jenny can be inspired by anything; "I can even be motivated by the way a certain paper soaks up a particular kind of ink". Jenny Frean lives and works in South London.
