Barbara Hails

Hails began exhibiting her pastel works in 1975. She executes her paintings on a ground glass museum board capturing bright sunshine and rich translucent shadows in her landscapes. She is the recipient of numerous awards and is a member of the Pastel Society of America, the Maryland Pastel Society and Artists Equity. Her paintings appear in private and public collections including IBM, Riggs National Bank, Marriott, the Readers Digest Corporation and Gannett.
