Arthur Hughes

Arthur Hughes was a British painter of the later phase of Pre- Raphaelitism. His best known paintings date from the 1850s and include "April Love" and "The Eve of St. Agnes". He also completed book ills for Christina Rossetti's "Sing Song". Hughes died a recluse in 1915.
