Fabio Hurtado

Fabio Hurtado was born in Madrid in 1960. Even in his childhood he had a strong afinity for drawing and painting. Pencils, wax, crayons, watercolors and felt pens all became his favorite toys much to his mothers horror, as she saw tables, doors, and walls covered with his graffiti. His love of painting continued during his youth, culminating in his entrance to the Fine Arts Faculty of Madrid in 1981. After graduation in 1986 he worked as an art teacher for the Local Government, and as an art instructor for school children throughout Madrid. In 1988, he took the bold step and dedicated himself completely to painting, with his unique and timeless style being enthusiastically received throughout the world.
