Eric Kamp

Eric Kamp's work stresses the strong relationship between nature and man, always placing some object into the natural environment as a juxtaposition between the two elements. His lens captures a narrow focal point to bring the viewer into direct contact with his vision of the world. His earlier works attempted to concentrate on sweeping panoramic landscapes but left him unsatisfied with the final image. As his art progressed he has narrowed the range of the actual camera lenses he uses to coordinate with his crystallized concept of the very place he is photographing.
