Steven Klein

Klein attented the SUNY College at Farmingdale, New York and the New York Institute of Technology Old Westbury, New York and received degrees in advertising and fine art. He has been painting and sketching in all media since childhood. Klein chooses to paint in a primitive naïve style as an expression of optimism, allowing him to use bright vivid colors, simplicity of forms and subject matter as diverse as old country farms to modern seashores. His purpose in art is to reshape nature into a stylized yet simplified concept which he achieves through a mingling of sophistication,wit and humor. In addition to winning numerous awards, Klein is collected world wide and shown in galleries throughout the United States.
