T.L. Lange

Born in Oil City, PA, T.L. Lange grew up in and around Washington, D.C. He studied fine art at Winthrop College in South Carolina for two years, then he moved to Atlanta because he felt that the only real education he would receive would be the one from artists who were living their professions. Of his work, Lange says, one painting leads to the next, while all the work relates as a stream of conscious flow. Drawing and painting are both attached to every single piece of work. A finely controlled strength expressing itself with a remarkable degree of technical eloquence characterizes Lange's work, which is found in corporate and private collections throughout the United States and around the world.
