Lucia Marque

Lucia Marque is a self taught painter inspired by the work of the Pre-Raphaelites and much of the work by Monet. She works in all mediums including oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, charcoal and colored pencil. She is primarily a realist artist, but sometimes ventures to the more abstract or symbolic styles of contemporary art. "I enjoy being challenged by modern American and European design influences in creating new and unique art. You can see the diverse goals I am striving for in the wide range of finished styles I create." A native of Poitier, France, Lucia is currently living in Tucson, Arizona.
