Frank Newbould

Born in Bradford, Frank Newbould studied at Bradford College of Art. He joined the War Office in 1942, working as an assistant to Abram Games. He designed posters for the LNER, GWR, Orient Line and Belgian Railways, and claimed to have started a landscape school in English poster design.
