Blanca Orsattoni

Blanca Orsattoni was born in Valencia, Venezuela. She studied architectural design and later continued her studies at the Valencia Art Institute, working mainly with oils and pastels. She has participated in numerous individual and collective art exhibitions. For many years, Blanca expressed her art in a variety of compositions then focused her creativity on calla lilies and palm leaves and trees, themes that brought her recognition throughout Venezuela. When asked about her work, Blanca says, “Callas and palms provide the vision that I transform in my studio into different shapes and colors. I try to work from subtle and soft characters to utilizing strong, contrasting elements. My life is inspired and strengthened by this vision of poetry and harmony.”
