Bill Philip

The photographer Bill Philip was born in 1946 and brought up in Scotland and the Lake District. From an early age he was influenced by the power of the landscapes, mountains, lochs and seas that surrounded his childhood homes and these echoes can be seen in much of his work today. Using a combination of traditional photographic skills and digital technology, Bill Philip’s work has been seen around the world and has been recognised with the granting of a number of artistic awards, including the Kodak Portrait Award and a print award from the British Institute of Incorporated Photographers. He is a founder Member of the Arundel Gallery Trail and his work has been exhibited throughout the United Kingdom.
