Olivier Raab

Paris born artist Olivier Raab studied at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris before spending two years at the Chelsea School of Art in London. Spending the summer months in southern Sweden inspired Raab to paint his series of beach paintings. His works are reminiscent of the Northern Lights of the Scandinavian School of Painters from the turn of the century. In 1980, Raab held his first one-man show in Paris and ever since has been exhibiting regularly throughout Europe as well as in Los Angeles and Hong Kong. His work is represented in the Museum of Modern Art in Brussels, the Pompidou Centre in Paris, the Debeers Collection and the R.A.C. in the UK.
