Lluis Ribas

Lluis Ribas, born in 1949 in Masnou, Bacelona, has been painting since the age of 9. Lluis also has a long experience of illustration and photography as well as a degree in advertising. Since 1975 he has been dedicating his time exclusively to painting, resulting in over 80 individual exhibitions. In 1995 Lluis inaugurated his own art gallery in St. Cugat “Espai Lluis Ribas” where his and others work can be viewed. Currently Lluis lives and works in Sant Cugat, near Barcelona but also spends long periods of time on Mallorca where he finds the warm light of the Mediterranean Sea as a source of inspiration for his art.
