Jose Villegas Y Cordero

Born in 1849, Cordero was a Mexican painter whose interest in the American Post Impressionist movement was heavily reflected in his paintings. Unfortunately, very little is known of the artist's life, though one of his religious paintings hangs in a church in Mexico City. Cordero died in 1922.
