Bernhard Vogel

The Austrian artist Bernhard Vogel is an instinctive master of watercolor. He achieves strength, drama and richness of color in a medium often associated with gentleness and soft hues. Vogel was born in Salzburg and is an inveterate traveler. His work has taken him to Greece, Tunisia, the USA, Bali, Venice and Scotland, amongst other places. The resulting works manage to convey effortlessly the particular character of each place.
