Arthur Wardle

Arthur Wardle's wonderful studies of animals are among his most remarkable works. He painted both domestic and wild animals and sporting subjects, using pastels and watercolors as well as oils. He exhibited widely during his lifetime, at the RA between 1880 and 1935 and elsewhere.
