Sharon Whitehurst

Sharon Whitehurst grew up in Colorado, enjoying the beauty of the Rockies. She has been involved in art since early childhood, illustrating stories from the past at a very early age. She has carried this interest in ancient myth and lore into her present work. Nature and animals are also a source of inspiration. Educated in commercial art, Sharon spent several years in advertising design, but always knew her interest was in the greater expression of fine art. Leaving commercial art behind, she has worked in fine art for the last decade. Sharon has created large custom works of art for hotels, casinos and private collections around the country. Sharon now lives in Phoenix, Arizona and works from her private studio.
