Robert Wood

Robert Wood, the son of famous English painter W.J. Wood, was born on the Kentish coast of England. Showing early artistic talents, he was enrolled at the age of twelve in the South Kensington School of Art where he distinguished himself and won many honors, including four first awards. Making his way to the US as a young man, Wood traveled throughout North America and painted its splendor. From his paintings of the rugged Atlantic coast to the golden Pacific Sunsets, there is virtually no area that escaped his discerning eye.
