Murray Yorke

Murray Yorke has lived on the Pacific and Atlantic coasts of Canada, the New England seaboard and the east coast of South Florida. Naturally, he draws his inspiration and most of his subject matter from the sea. He has worked in many fields besides art, including fishing, coastal shipping and music. For the past thirty years, however, he has devoted his time to art. Yorke works primarily in oil and acrylics for their body and substance. He also enjoys painting African scenes and North American wildlife. Striving to continually learn, Yorke also loves writing, literature and philosophy.
