B.J. Zhang

Zhang was born in China and educated at the Beijing Film Academy in multi-media art. He later studied painting in Japan and Australia. He does performance pieces in galleries, creates films, and uses water color and acrylic on both paper and canvas. Zhangs images are soft, mediative, delicate forms, often flowers, on a misty background. He has exhibited extensively throughout Asia, the United States and Australia and created artwork or the Atlanta Olympics in 1996.
